How to build a cohesive feed

We all know how important it is to have an aligned and on brand social page that represents your brand. Keeping colors, fonts and your brand standards in check all while creating a gorgeous feed that gives you all the feels! This will also set consistency throughout your brand, which builds more trust to your viewers.

Creating a cohesive feed can be overwhelming, especially if you don’t know where to start or don’t have a clear idea of your overall branding. Ultimately, creating a cohesive feed doesn't need to be complicated! It should be something that you have fun with, where you can experiment and bring your brand to life. Here are a few ways you can achieve a curated feed that is beautiful and flows together!

Picking brand colors that speak to your business is always one of my first recommendations - and is something I work closely with my clients when we work together in my branding package. Once you select your colors, you can work to incorporate them throughout your photos and posts!

1: Pick your brand colors

I always recommend choosing a font style that represents your brand, the type of business it represents and the emotion you want to evoke within your branding. Once you narrow this down, you can use these fonts throughout your social media, websites and more! This way when a customer sees these elements, they are immediately reminded of your business and brand.

2: Choose your brand fonts

What is your overall vibe? Are your images light and airy? Dark and moody? Or a little something in between? These details can be carried throughout your feed so your images are complementary and help tie everything together.

3: Image content

I love using a scheduler like planoly or later that helps me map out my feed! I can arrange things as needed to see what flows well and lay out my content and images in a way that is complimentary. You can adopt a certain layout and pick and choose exactly how you want things to look!
